Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead in Concert at Faneuil Hall
with Schumann's Symphony No. 2
A concert staging of scenes from Herschel Garfein's new comic opera,
Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead (based on the play by Tom Stoppard) in
their orchestral premiere.
The cast of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead will be Krista River,
mezzo-soprano as Alfred; baritone Chad Sloan as Rosencrantz; baritone David
Kravitz as Guildenstern; and bass Jeffrey Tucker as the Player, leader of
the acting troupe, The Tragedians. The actors, all vocal students at the New
England Conservatory of Music, are portrayed by Lindsay Conrad, Ashley
Kozak, Abigail Krawson, Lila Palmer, Sean Lair and Brock Johnson.
